Port Campbell Discovery Walk

You cannot leave town without walking the discovery walk bridge and stairs. This addition to our town was built in 2020 and allows visitors to cross the river all year round. Over 150 stairs to climb to get the best view in town and for the hiking enthusiast take the round trip along the coast line and really appreciate our gorgeous location.

These amazing beauties will have you getting out of bed at a ridiculous hour in the morning or have you standing out in the early evening waiting until you have caught the magic, which ever it is it is well worth it! 


Otway forrest

There is something so special about driving through the forrest, staring out the window at the tall trees and the greenery that surrounds you. There are so many worthy stops along the way, that will have you wishing for more time!!

The GOR walk positions you along side the rugged cliff edge and gives you a real exploration of the coastline, 8 days and 100km that will give you your own unique experience.

Camperdown to Timboon

34 kilometres of picturesque nature, trestle bridges and wooded grassland and tall wet forest. This track is for hiking enthusiasts, bike riders and family adventures.

The abundance of Food Artisans and producers in the area gives visitors the chance to savour several amazing food and wine experiences along the spectacular coast and scattered throughout the inland crater country.




Peterborough coast to bay of islands track

Great way to explore the coastline, starting in Peterborough and walking/riding along the path.

Approximately a 10 kilometre round trip stopping at all the small beaches along the way:

- Wild Dog Cove

- Rubbish Tip Bay

- Worm Bay

- Bay of Martyrs

- Bay of Islands

Make sure you support our local restaurants & cafes when travelling to Port Campbell. Our businesses offer vast variety of food choices and excellent barista coffee, definitely worth visiting for!!

Grassroots Deli Cafe





The Hilltop village just off the Great Ocean Road and 20 minutes out from Port Campbell. Offers fishing, coastal beaches, swimming, National Park trails & lookouts. This little town is worth the drive, if your lucky you will see the kangaroos that call Princetown their home.




The Gourmet Hub to the 12 Apostle Food Artisan trail. Only 10 minute drive from Port Campbell, a must see when visiting our area. Enjoy walks through the local Forrest's and

Great ocean road

The GOR drive gives you the chance to see and stop at many of the sights in a shorter amount of time, but don't rush this as each stop is worth it.

Starting at Lorne and finishing at Port Campbell, this drive is a full days adventure.

 Family get together? Friend catch up? School reunion ... whatever the group size PCHR will sleep you all nicely! In particularly Pitcher Vista (sleeps 11) or The Pitch (sleeps 8) or we have the Bayview Apartments right opposite the beach (combined these can sleep 17 people).

The Port Campbell National Park is a safe spot for you to bring your family, the Port Campbell Bay is the safest swimming beach along the coast. Enjoy exploring all the beaches, let your children feel the sand between their toes while you enjoy the ever-changing cliff edges.
